SDWAN-FAST Okta Onboarding Guide

Prerequisites

You must have Admin access to your Okta organization account.

Supported Features

# Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow This authentication flow occurs when the user attempts to log in to the application from SDWAN-FAST.

# User Federation, role management, etc. are not supported. Users and their SDWAN-FAST roles will be managed from the SDWAN-FAST administrator team accounts settings.

Okta Administration Configuration

Configuration is done in the Okta Admin Console.

  • Step 1

In Okta, go to Applications → Browse App Catalog, search for then add SDWAN-FAST.

  • Step 2

Assign the users or groups that will only be able to log into SDWAN-FAST using the Okta SSO button.

  • Step 3

Go to the SDWAN-FAST App → Sign On tab and note of the Client ID and Client Secret.

  • Step 4

Contact service@unilake.io with the following information:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Okta Issuer URL (Can be found by clicking the OpenID Provider Metadata link on the Sign On tab from Step 3)

User Login Via Okta SSO Button

Once SDWAN-FAST has been assigned to the user, they can use the Okta SSO button to access their account.

Go to https://dock.unilake.net/login

  • Step 2

Tap the Okta SSO button to log in.
